It was Mahatma Gandhi who famously said, “First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win.” When in conflict, if the other side is attempting to silence you, it is a clear indicator they are terrified of what you will uncover about them.
If their attempt at silence carries a possible 20-year jail sentence, you have clearly struck a chord. The indictment of David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, from Center for American Progress, responsible for the undercover videos, which surfaced this summer inside Planned Parenthoods, is a perfect example of these Machiavellian tactics.
I am ashamed of my government and their victory in slowly eroding the transparency and morality our country was founded on. Our First Amendment is not an option; it is not a political tool to be wielded by those who agree with the government’s agenda. There used to be honor in exposing a corrupt murderous organization. Instead, if you expose one and they happen to be a darling of the mainstream media and the liberal left, that honor turns to condemnation.
The government will make an example out of Daleiden and Merritt to show us lowly folks on the outskirts of the Potomac—we will bend to their will and stay silent as they carry on about the business they think we are too dimwitted to understand.
Dear friends, supporters and dignitaries:
I usually make it a strong habit to ignore internet trolls and their lies, but since more than a few of you on this email sent this to me to be sure I saw it, I wanted to take a brief moment to reply clearly to the inane and libelous rantings.
I offer my apologies for bothering you with such nonsense, but since we all understand that even unfounded lies can do damage, it is best to nip them in the bud and then be done and satisfied with the matter.
It is regrettable Kelli Ward, her husband and their supporters take to social media and email with personal attacks, lies, innuendo, obfuscation, slander, libel, and gossip rather than sticking to substantive issues. Nevertheless, such do require serious rebuttal from time-to-time.Read more
SCOTTSDALE, AZ- United States Senate Candidate Alex Meluskey made the following statement regarding the introduction of H.B. 2410 (Sex Education Curricula; requirements) into the Arizona Legislature by Democrats.
Our current Commander in Chief uses appeasement as a standard methodology for foreign policy. George Washington taught us over 200 years ago that this is not an acceptable strategy. He understood that to be prepared for war is the most effective means of preserving peace. People, cities, states and nations act in their own self-interest. Weak leadership and negotiating from behind is exploited. Our federal government has the responsibility to protect the people and our interests from foreign threats. We can only have peace through strength.Read more

Dear Concerned Parents and my Fellow Arizonans
The education of our children is the most important long term issue facing our state and our country. In the years 2009-2012, Arizona leadership went to Washington, D.C. to apply for Race-to-the-top funds in their quest to adopt Common Core. Since then, Arizona parents have battled the federal government’s overreach into the local school systems.
Recently, parents and teachers have seen firsthand the implications these “standards” are having on Arizona children.
The results from the AzMerit tests have been released, showing most Arizona students have failed to master the most basic math and reading skills. They are proven to be “minimally proficient”.
I believe parents and the states, not the federal government, should be responsible for crafting the education of their students. As your U.S. Senator I will fight to maintain local control of our children’s education.
Arizona voters spoke at the polls in 2014, when they elected Diane Douglas as the Superintendent of Public Instruction. Douglas ran solely on the basis of repealing Common Core in Arizona schools, and returning local control of education to parents and the state.
During Douglas’ first days, she sought to remove members of the State Board of Education from their positions. Our governor blocked her move—shortly after, Senate Bill 1038 was proposed by State Senator Kelli Ward. The bill contained language further stripping Douglas of her authority. Do these actions represent you?
Over two hundred years ago as our fledgling nation was trying to gain it’s independence, our founders were able to make one strong ally.
One that came to our side when we had little to offer, but an idea. An idea of a free nation from rule of anyone but the people. That ally was France.
United States Senate Candidate Alex Meluskey made the following statement following tonights Paris Terrorist attacks:
“Heaven is overflowing tonight with those entering before their time. Roberta’s and my thoughts are with all those who lost their lives and their families in this senseless series of cowardly terrorist attacks by Islamic Jihadists. We send our condolences to our oldest allies, the people of France.Read more
