PRESS RELEASE--Meluskey Applauds SCOTUS for Striking down Obama’s Unconstitutional Immigration Plan
Scottsdale, AZ – Today, the Supreme Court struck down President Obama’s immigration plan that would have led to amnesty for over 5 million illegal immigrants. In response, small businessman and U.S. Senate Candidate Alexander Meluskey said:
“It’s great to see that the Supreme Court still recognizes that there is such a principle as separation of powers, and that the executive does not have unilateral power to grant amnesty to people in our country illegally. Reversing DACA and DAPA is something that the Republican congress failed to do, even after promising action on the matter, so I’m happy that the Supreme Court has done so. However, if we do not replace Justice Scalia with a like-minded conservative stalwart this may not always be the case, which is why it is so important that we keep Arizona’s senate seat red and our senate majority. Ann Kirkpatrick would vote to confirm a justice who would desecrate the memory and great work of Justice Scalia.”
Small businessman, radio host and FAIRtax champion Alex Meluskey is running a grassroots campaign to take on sitting U.S. Senator John McCain in the Arizona Republican Primary in the same vein as now-Congressman Dave Brat’s historic 2014 takedown of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Mr. Meluskey is taking on the establishment in Washington, D.C. and an entrenched 5-term Senator at a time when America needs new ideas to solve our nation’s challenges.
