PRESS RELEASE––New Television Ad Targets Senator John McCain’s Ties to Saudi Arabia
Scottsdale, AZ – A nonprofit with ties to Senator John McCain received a $1 million donation from the government of Saudi Arabia in 2014, according to documents filed with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Senator John McCain’s conservative primary challenger, small businessman Alex Meluskey, has released a new ad hitting McCain on the ethical implications of the donation.
“Saudi Arabia gave millions to the Clinton Foundation,” the ad reads. “They also gave a million to the John McCain Institute. What commitments did they get in return? Arms deals? Ignoring human rights abuses?”
“I’m running against John McCain in the Republican primary, and with me, you’ll never have to ask such questions,” Mr. Meluskey concludes.
The ad can be found above and on Youtube here: https://youtu.be/gseVSEpQmUU
Small businessman, radio host and FAIRtax champion Alex Meluskey is running a grassroots campaign to take on sitting U.S. Senator John McCain in the Arizona Republican Primary in the same vein as now-Congressman Dave Brat’s historic 2014 takedown of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Mr. Meluskey is taking on the establishment in Washington, D.C. and an entrenched 5-term Senator at a time when America needs new ideas to solve our nation’s challenges.
