PRESS RELEASE--McCain Primary Challenger Praises the Republican Rejection of the Two-State Solution
Scottsdale, AZ – Today, the Republican Party broke with a decades-old policy by rejecting the “Two-State Solution” in the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The Two-State Solution envisions the establishment of Palestine as an independent state with Israel. Alex Meluskey has praised this decision and believes it to be a further demonstration of the Republicans’ commitment to a strong relationship between the United States and Israel.
I have stood with the Jewish State my whole life, and I am very grateful to see the Republican Party make a real stand with Israel,” said U.S. Senate candidate Alex Meluskey. “In this most volatile region in the world it is so important that our most natural ally knows they have the support and room to not feel forced upon, but to communicate in their own terms. True allies have each other’s back, without the worry of pressure.”
The Arizona primary will be held on August 30, 2016.
Small businessman, radio host and FAIRtax champion Alex Meluskey is running a grassroots campaign to take on sitting U.S. Senator John McCain in the Arizona Republican Primary in the same vein as now-Congressman Dave Brat’s historic 2014 takedown of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Mr. Meluskey is taking on the establishment in Washington, D.C. and an entrenched 5-term Senator at a time when America needs new ideas to solve our nation’s challenges.
