PRESS RELEASE--NRA's Former President Endorses Alex Meluskey
SCOTTSDALE, AZ- U.S. Senate Candidate, Alex Meluskey, received the endorsement of former NRA President and former Arizona Attorney General, Robert Corbin.
In his endorsement Mr. Corbin stated:
“I have been closely watching the race for U.S. Senate in Arizona. We need people in the U.S. Senate who will stand up for the 2nd Amendment, pay the debt we owe our Veterans, fight to secure the border and stand up for the rule of law. Having been involved with the Arizona law enforcement and 2nd Amendment community for such a long time, I can confidently say Alex Meluskey is the only man who fits that bill. I am proud to endorse him and stand with him in this fight.”
Bob Corbin served the longest tenure as Arizona Attorney General in state history, from 1980 to 1992. Corbin is regarded as one of the most popular state attorney generals in the history of Arizona, and is widely respected by the law enforcement community nationwide. Attorney General Corbin has a reputation for standing up to the establishment in both parties. Corbin also served as Maricopa County Attorney from 1965 to 1969 and County Supervisor from 1975 to 1979.
Candidate Alex Meluskey thanked Corbin for his endorsement:
“It is not every day a man with the stature and reputation of Robert Corbin endorses a candidate. I am grateful, humbled and very excited Bob realizes the importance of this election. As a law and order conservative and a staunch defender of the 2nd Amendment, I am excited and honored to accept this endorsement.
As a man who knows what it takes to stand up to the establishment, Bob Corbin understands this race, and is able to see through the fog the old and new establishments are creating. He understands the need to replace career politicians with true citizen representatives.”
