PRESS RELEASE–Conservative Outsider Takes on Senator John McCain

Scottsdale, AZ –Small businessman, radio host and FAIRtax champion Alex Meluskey is running a grassroots campaign to take on sitting U.S. Senator John McCain in the Arizona Republican Primary in the same vein as now-Congressman Dave Brat’s historic 2014 takedown of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Mr. Meluskey is taking on the establishment in Washington, D.C. and an entrenched 6-term Senator at a time when America needs new ideas to solve our nation’s challenges.

“We are mounting the effort to run for the United Sates Senate here in Arizona because as a citizen, I am gravely concerned with the lack of direction, lack of principles and lack of citizen representation in our country,” said small businessman Alex Meluskey, conservative primary challenger to Senator John McCain. “I am in a unique position which enables me to shift my business interests into the hands of others, focusing my energies on giving others a voice I feel we do not have.”

“Too few leaders in Washington are standing up for the people,” Mr. Meluskey added. “The people deserve leaders who will be direct with where they stand on issues and what they plan to do. After that, the leaders must be accountable to their promises. We will be direct, we will be honest and we will be accountable to the people for my promises.”

Founded in 1993, Mr. Meluskey owns and operates Optimum Graphics USA, LLC, a printing and promotional products company that has thrived despite the federal government.

He is also active in his community as Arizona State Director of FAIRtax, a group dedicated to reforming the U.S. Tax Code. He is a Republican precinct committeeman in his district and a syndicated talk radio host.

Alex has been married to his wife, Roberta, for 20 years and they have one son and one daughter.
