There is no justification for the senseless attacks against Israeli citizens, and I continue to stand in support of the State of Israel.
There is definitely no place for the violent attacks against the Israelis in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv or anywhere.
My prayers go out to the victims and families, while my thoughts go to the solutions that must be put in place to secure the safety of our friends in Israel.
My demand of my government is actions are taken showing the true support and solidarity with the State of Israel.
If there is any time to show a sign of friendship and support toward our true ally, then let it begin now.
The actions of our executive branch continuing to overstep the legislative branch while undermining the Israelis in the Middle East as of late, is unacceptable. I call on members of the Senate to remind our President it is the Senate who advises on treaty by which the President shall act, not by direct executive order.
An order destabilizing the only Democracy in the Middle East, undermines the stability of the region. It is an order that is short sighted and unresponsive to historical actions which is in direct opposition to peace.
I do not accept the lack of support our nation gives a natural ally.
